Be a Bobarista!

Barista, bobarista, tearista, whatever you call it, we appreciate your interest in working at either or both of our locations.

We are currently hiring through Operation New Hope.

Right now, we are hiring through a youth workforce program in partnership with Operation New Hope (ONH), also known as WEX. This program offers an amazing opportunity for young people to gain job experience and get paid while doing it, but it’s a little different than a regular job, so here’s what you should know:

To qualify, you must:
• Be between 16 and 24 years old
• Live in (or have a relative who lives in) San Bernardino, Muscoy, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, or Montclair
• Have experienced at least one of the following (no documentation required — just a signature confirming your experience):
 • Dropped out of high school
 • Experienced homelessness
 • Been in foster care
 • Are a parent
 • Been involved with the justice system (e.g., probation)
 • Have a disability or IEP
 • Struggled with anxiety or depression
 • Have low income or use EBT/Food Stamps

What To Expect

Before you can start working, you’ll go through ONH’s onboarding process. This includes orientation, testing, four job readiness workshops, and meetings with your case manager. This process takes a minimum of three weeks, sometimes longer if appointments need to be rescheduled, so please plan ahead and stay in touch with your case manager to keep things moving.

Once you’re fully onboarded, you can work up to 20 hours per week and complete a total of 150 paid hours, with the option to extend up to 200 hours if approved by ONH. Your role is meant to give you hands-on experience, support our barista team, and help you build professional confidence.

Please note: while working through the ONH/WEX program, you are not eligible for credit card tips. However, cash tips are pooled and split equally among all baristas at the end of each shift.
